I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stanly Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education K-6 from UNCC.

Meet the TeacherWelcome to my page! Here is where I will tell you a little about myself.
I have worked over 19 years for Stanly County Schools. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy teaching each child in my classroom. I have very high expectations for ALL students in my classroom and know that each of them can succeed.
I live with my husband John and our great-niece Payzleigh. My husband and I have been married for 29 years. We have 3 dogs; Cooper, Sausha and Meekha. I come from a big family with 2 brothers, 1 sister, 5 nephews, 5 nieces, 6 great nephews, and 4 great nieces. I love spending my weekends with my family.
I love teaching a child a skill and watching their faces light up as they learn that new skill and use it. I think all children can succeed and if they see we believe in them, they will believe in themselves too. My goal is to not make a difference in just one child’s life, but all the children I teach.
