Help from the United Way

We are all aware of the financial strain that the COVID19 pandemic has placed on our community, as well as others. Working families that have not needed much help to make ends meet are finding themselves having to ask about assistance, and families already struggling have become even more in danger of running out of resources. One thing our community has quickly responded to is the need for food assistance. There are many small programs that have developed out of the concern of churches, businesses and caring citizens. There are options for ready-made meals to carry out as well as food pantry assistance around the county. Patience is often required as some programs are operating under modified procedures and with fewer staff , but the food is being provided.  If you have any questions, please email
